Week Four Preview

Hey fam! Welcome to week four! We’re over the half way mark and the teams are about to come to the business end of the competition. No one has really stamped their mark on the tournament just yet but this round could be the one where we see it!

Ok, the first game of round four is tonight at 5.05pm.

 

BOP Volcanix
Taranaki Whio

The first crossover game of the round sees the Volcanix host the Whio at Rotorua Stadium on Friday night. Both teams have yet to register a win on the board so this is a do or die game for them. Live on Sky TV at 5.05pm, Friday afternoon.

 

Hawkes Bay Tuis
North Harbour Hibiscus

The Tuis host the Hibiscus on Saturday morning 11.35am at McLean Park in Naiper. With only one bonuspoint separating them, both teams will look to put a stamp on the game early to make sure they stay in contention for the semi finals. Live on Sky TV at 2pm, Saturday afternoon.

 

Waikato
Auckland Storm

Waikato host the Auckland Storm on Saturday afternoon at 1pm at the Taupiri Rugby Club just south of Huntly. Both teams need this win to keep their semi finals dreams alive, Auckland more so. Currently the only game of the round not being televised.

 

Otago Spirit
Counties Power Heat (TBA)

Tasman Mako (TBA)
Wellington Pride

The next game has the Tasman Mako take on the Wellington Pride at Trafalgar Park in Nelson on Sunday morning at 11.35am. Wellington are sitting at the top of the Championship table while the Mako are lurking in fifth place looking for their second win of the season. Live on Sky TV at 11.35am, Sunday morning.

 

Manawatu Cyclones
Canterbury

The last game of the round sees the Cyclones host Canterbury at Central Energy Trust Stadium in Palmerston North. Canterbury are sitting top of the table with the Cyclones only one point behind them. Both teams need the win to advance their cause into the semifinals. Live on Sky TV at 2.05pm, Sunday afternoon.
